About us

On September 9, 2017, three independent non-profit associations (SwissSpartans, OCRNE & OCR Ticino) representing the three main linguistic regions of Switzerland created the Swiss Obstacle Sports Federation (SOSF).

The SOSF is the only national governing body for obstacle sports, obstacle course racing and related disciplines for Switzerland. It is the only federation authorized and accredited by the “Fédération Internationale de Sport d’Obsatcles” (FISO).

The mission of SOSF is to represent, promote and support obstacle courses and other obstacle sports in Switzerland, to set up, promulgate, administer and apply the rules governing OCR and finally to ensure that these rules are applied in championships and competitions. To this end, the SOSF works
in close collaboration with the international (FISO) and European (EOSF) federations.

The objective of the SOSF is to contribute to the good of the greatest number by educating everything through participation in sport, without discrimination or bias of any kind. SOSF aims to facilitate mutual understanding, collaboration, friendship and fairness between athletes and all
interested parties.
