The Spartan European Championship 2022 happened in the London’s country on 8th October in Pippingford park.
Particularity of this edition, all hanging obstacles had no burpees’ penalty but a penalty loop of run without weight to carry (at the last OCR European Championship, the penalty loop was longer and athletes had to carry a massive chain (provided by Spartan)).
Unfortunately, Manuel Dufaux, one of our best athlete, was sick and was not able to finish the race. The best swiss performance comes again from Luca Pezzani, but he also arrived not in a good shape for this race. After awesome results for these two athletes this year, end of the season is challenging with the multiplicity of races. We wish them to recover quickly!
